أعلن باتريس موتسيبي رئيس الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم عن شكل دوري السوبر الإفريقي بحضور جياني إنفانتينو رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم.

وقال موتسيبي: الزمالك سيشارك في النسخة المقبلة من الدوري الأفريقي، البطولة ستضم 24 ناديًا، وستشهد مشاركة أعلى الأندية في التصنيف.

وأردف: تواجد الأهلي والزمالك في الدوري الإفريقي أمر طبيعي لأنهم من أكبر من أندية القارة.

وأضاف: مصر من الدول التي نفخر بها دائمًا، منتخب المغرب وصل إلى نصف نهائي كأس العالم، وأعتقد أن مصر تستطيع أن تصل إلى هذه المكانة أيضًا.

جدير بالذكر أن يقام اليوم افتتاح بطولة دوري السوبر الإفريقي من خلال مواجهة سيمبا التنزاني والأهلي.
